Training a dog to learn new tricks isn’t often easy… but it’s essential to pet ownership and can be lifesaving. Some of the more simpler commands like “stay” and “come” are so beneficial to pets in so many ways. Imagine for a moment your dog runs into the street, your command of “come” will obviously bring your pet out of the street and back to your home, unharmed.
Or the simple command of “stay”. Where you’ve trained your dog well enough to stay put and not run off. These simple actions help to encourage good behaviour as well as ensuring your dog knows he’s part of the pack.

Your dogs native tongue is “dog” and to him, English is a second language. So communicating with them will take some practice and time. You’ll learn to use cues such as sounds (clapping, snaps, whistling), body positioning, which help guide your dog into picking up on these physical and verbal cues to help in their training.
