Synthetic dogs are the means to end terminal surgeries on dogs. Dogs by the thousands die each year due to animal testing facilities whereby they are tested mostly for toxicology studies. What’s more alarming is that veterinary school surgical procedures also perform cruel animal testing on live dogs. That’s right – live dogs.
While it’s the dream of some people to become veterinarians to care for all animals, some students come to realize too late that what may be required of them. Which is to perform unnecessary medical procedures on these animals only to kill them for use as cadaver specimens for dissection.
But it doesn’t have to be this way thanks to a company based in Florida, SynDaver Labs, who’ve created a technological marvel saving many thousands of animals per year from senseless animal testing.
Synthetic dogs are available now as an alternative to a live dog’s inhumane treatment. Most dogs suffer at the hands of veterinary colleges and big pharma. This also allows vet students to get the life experience they need without compromising the life of an animal. As well, compromising their own own morals.
Ending Terminal Surgeries Using Synthetic Dogs
What is “Terminal Surgery”? What most people don’t know about animal testing and surgery performed by veterinarian students, is that they use live animals and then allow the animal to simply die.
SynDaver Labs has created a crowdfunding page to raise $24 million to be able to give a synthetic dog to 30 accredited veterinary colleges.
Humane veterinary education must be applied to provide a veterinarian-in-training with real world examples. This means contact with live animals – synthetic dogs are a more viable solution when compared to terminal surgeries.
