Ronin is a 16 month old German Shepard. He has many nicknames including Roni, Red Ronin, Crazy Man, Monster, Ronin the Destroyer and Shabadoo. How did Ronin get his name? Well, the rogue samurai seemed to fit his personality as a puppy, well intentioned, but reckless.
The most expensive item he destroyed and made his toy was a chaise couch (this is how his dad learned how to reupholster). His favorite place to be scratched is definitely the chest and stomach and if you get his sweet spot, his back paws start kicking. His favorite thing you do with his family is camping, hiking, walking, car rides and everything in between.
Every family activity includes Ronin unless prohibited. His favorite toy is a small, black and orange rope and ball toy that the breeder sent us home with that is meant for puppies. He constantly tries to use it to play tug-of-war! Ronins favorite treat is really anything you are willing to feed him, but his sensitive stomach prefers regular dog biscuits.
The best trick Ronin know is how to manipulate humans into doing his bidding
His personality is very exuberant, happy, sweet, protective and extremely task oriented (he likes to have job. His best friend is Kona, one of my cat roommates. Dakota Woods Dog Park is where you can find him if your wanting to play. He lives with 4 cats (Peaches, Arbiter, Sunny and Kona) who he loves very much!
Things Ronin does that are naughty? He hides shoes, chews up full rolls of toilet paper, drops tennis balls in the water dish and shakes the water all over the kitchen and dining room floor, rips the blankets out from under the cats when they are sleeping when looking for a playmate, takes all of his dad’s freshly laundered pajama pants and drag them into the living room.
Ronin Has Favorites at DDG
Ronin loves getting to play with all of his friends, follow the mop bucket around and try and entice all of the other dogs to play outside. It is a great place for Ronin to be well-socialized and have the opportunity to exercise, as well as be well taken care of! Ronin loves his days at Dog Day Getaway.
Ronin is a special part of our PACK here at DDG he is sweet well mannered and as playful as you want a dog to be. Always one to play with whoever and have a good time. Never a bad mood but a nice mix of fun and mischievous. We love Ronin.
