Ever since our first fur baby, Guinness, came into our lives on April 1, 2005, we started looking for ways to keep him entertained while we worked our full time jobs. Guinness was and is a very “selective” pup – he was a rescue dog, and there are only a few people he feels comfortable being around. The first visit we had to DDG back in July 2005 (when Guinness had turned 7 months), we knew we had to sign him up for daily visits. We met both owners – Carey and Nicole, and we knew immediately this would be the perfect fit for our boy. Right away he felt comfortable with both of them, and they got to see the sweet, lovable side of Guinness. He became the test for all new employees of DDG because of his selective nature.
Four months later we added our second rescued fur baby to our family – Bailey. He has never met a person he didn’t love, and vice versa. He joined Guinness on the daily visits to DDG, and became one of the “orientation” dogs to help screen new pups during their first visit. Bailey loves all the attention he gets from Carey, Nicole, and the entire staff at Dog Day Getaway; and Guinness has found his home away from home.
We can’t say enough great things about the staff, and we have no reservations referring anyone (and obviously, their dogs) to Dog Day Getaway. They are the best for taking care of your pups.
