Some pet owners think that making dog food at home may take up a good portion of their time, but, it’s a lot less time consuming than you may have thought.
One of the best things to come out of your kitchen will be your pets food. When making your own, you can dismiss having to add salt or other preservatives your pet doesn’t need in it’s diet. It’s a good idea to always add a grain, such as wheat germ, cooked oatmeal or whole wheat bread to meat dinners. We like to use 25% meat to 75% carbohydrate rich foods (grains and vegetables).
