Check out this handsome huge ball of fluff, doesn’t get much cuter! This is Odin, a most wonderful pup and the DDG Dog of the Month for February 2023!

- What is your dogs name? Odin
- How did you pick his name? We had picked Moose but after seeing his dad we decided that name was too silly and didn’t fit. He needed a more serious name, so after arguing over names most of the 12 hour drive home we finally did some googling and settled on Odin
- When is his birthday?: May 18th 2021
- What is his breed? Anatolian Shepherd
- Does he have any nicknames? Odie, Odes, Dingus, Dingle, Dingle-doo, Dingleberry
- What is his favorite place to be scratched?: Butt scratches!
- If he could eat any human food what would it be? An entire stick of butter. (Hasn’t happened yet but he tries to sneak a lick at any chance he gets)
- What is he most afraid of? Missing out, he has major FOMO! Or getting his ears cleaned.
- If he had a profession what would it be? A very enthusiastic security guard
- If he drove a car what would they drive? A Mini Cooper
- Mom or dad? Dad, Mom enforces the rules and that’s no fun. He also has talking buttons and “daddy” is one of his favorite words to use, right behind “outside”, “play”, and “potty”.
- What’s the naughtiest thing Odin has ever done? Ate the cord off dads video game controller.
- Floor? Couch? Dog bed? Or all the above Couch! He has a spot and if you steal it he either acts out until you get up or he will sit on you.
- What’s your favorite thing to do with Odin? Hiking!
- What’s a day in the life of Odin? Morning potty and security check, then back to bed with breakfast- which he snacks on at his leisure throughout the day. Lunchtime potty and security check, probably back to bed again for a bit then the evening is full of playing ball, barking at everything, stealing dirty laundry, head banging with shoes, and playing in the snow.

- Bone? Ball? Stuffy or Rope? Ball if it’s playtime, bone if it’s bedtime.

- One thing you would change about him? More snuggly – he only lets kids snuggle him. Adults he just wants to wrestle and roughhouse.

- What is his favorite hangouts? In his backyard, at the lake, or at any crowded event where he can be the center of attention.
