At Dog Day Getaway, we’ve designed our dog boarding experience to be a memorable retreat for your furry friend. We ensure their stay is packed with excitement, curbing any homesickness with engaging fun and activities. Every furry guest is pampered with a raised Kuranda bed, a cozy fleece blanket, and premium stainless steel food and water dishes.
Our expansive 12,000 square-foot facility is not just about space, but also the quality of interactions. Whether your dog loves to play or prefers more of a one-on-one human connection, we’ve got it covered. Our staff is devoted to providing both active exercise and gentle, attentive care to cater to your dog’s unique needs. When it comes to your dog’s stay, don’t compromise. Choose Dog Day Getaway as their preferred sleepover destination while you’re away.
During our peak periods, which encompass all holidays, Spring Break, and MEA, peak pricing is applied due to higher demand. For these times, a 50% deposit per dog is required, accompanied by a 7-day cancellation notice. Happy travels!
At Dog Day Getaway, we strongly recommend that you always bring your dog's own food, as it's best for their health and well-being. However, in the event that you run out or forget it at home, we carry high quality, locally-sourced Nutrisource Pure Vita meals. You can choose to use our food for a small fee of $4.00/meal for dry food or $4/can for wet food. We feed meals 3 times of day. If a dog requires meals or medications outside of these dedicated times, additional fees could apply .
At DDG, our aim is to create a comfortable environment that closely mimics a night at home for your beloved pets. Dogs go to their rooms only for a peaceful night’s sleep, accompanied by a gentle night light and soothing music. For added assurance, we’ve implemented a robust security system featuring interior motion detection, temperature sensors, and direct access for both Police and Fire departments, ensuring that in any emergency, our facility is prioritized.
Just like humans, some dogs need a little extra love and attention.
If your special family member happens to have a special nutritional or medication need, please let our staff know and we’d be more than happy to make accommodations!
We’ll follow your directions to the letter so you can have one less worry.
We do ask that if your dog requires a little something special to help get that medicine down that you do provide that as well. For those that forget that special item or whos dogs can be a little more challenging to administer medication to we do charge an additional $2.00 per day.
